About Nyamhuka Primary School

Nyamhuka Primary School, nestled in the scenic town of Nyanga, Zimbabwe, is a cornerstone of the community, dedicated to delivering exceptional primary education. Founded by the Nyanga Rural District Council soon after Zimbabwe’s independence, our school has been committed to the “Education for All” policy since 1984. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that empowers every student to reach their full potential.

Our school has grown remarkably over the years, supported by a dedicated team of 45 staff members and a vibrant student body of 1,507 as of March 2024. We pride ourselves on our consistent academic excellence, demonstrated by our impressive grade seven pass rates, which have remained above 89% for the past four years. We aim to achieve a 100% pass rate, striving for continuous improvement in all aspects of our educational offerings.

Nyamhuka Primary School is not only a place of learning but also a community hub where students, parents, and staff work together to create a supportive and engaging environment. Our values of respect, integrity, citizenship, and excellence guide everything we do, ensuring that we foster a culture of lifelong learning and responsible citizenship.
